Events:

Our organization was honored to be invited by Hartford HealthCare to serve as volunteer translators for their annual statewide medical mission, held at Cesar A. Batalla School on November 8th, 2025. Each year, Hartford HealthCare transforms a local school into a fully operational pop-up medical center, offering no-cost care to adults and adolescents without requiring health insurance or documentation of any kind. Community members are simply encouraged to come as they are and bring anyone in need of medical attention. The event provides a wide range of services, including support from adult and adolescent medical providers, behavioral health professionals, spiritual care leaders, and a mobile pharmacy, while also distributing essential items such as winter coats and winter boots and accessories that are much needed. The mission partners closely with local universities, giving future medical professionals meaningful hands-on experience while allowing them to give back to the communities they will one day serve. Our role as translators helped bridge language barriers and ensured every individual could comfortably express their needs and receive the care they deserved. We are grateful for the opportunity to support this impactful initiative and contribute to such an inclusive, community-centered day of service.

Client Stories

In 2017, I came across the Latinos’ Agenda when I needed help with college enrollment. At the time, I was only in the country for six months and I was unaware of what would entail registering and getting admitted to college. The organization helped and directed me to the right resources to get myself enrolled. The organization created a GoFundMe page to cover some of the expenses of the enrollment and served as a reference for me to obtain scholarships. After four years, I was able to graduate due to the help provided. Afterward, I had the opportunity to be a part of the organization helping my community. It’s been rewarding that even behind the scenes, I can do and provide others with the opportunity that was given to me; which allowed me to pave my way into this country full of opportunities and reach my maximum potential. I desire to positively impact others the way the Latinos’ Agenda has done with me. I will be forever grateful for the help that was provided to me, and for always making me feel welcomed and like I am part of a family.
